Check this out...
This is EXACTLY why I wrote Verbal Kung Fu for Freelancers. I was just so sick and tired of clients pulling this type of crap on me and other freelancers out there. This has to be one of the most well put together videos I've ever seen - AWESOME!
We all know clients can be jerks, but what do you do and what do you say when they do this to you? If aren't sure how to effectively handle the situations in this video, check out what I've written specifically for creative freelancers so they can defend themselves and NOT offend the client so they lose the business: I show you exactly what to say back to these jokers when they try these stunts on you. Get in on my special limited time offer - now through Friday.
PS - If you are or know who did this video please let me know, I'd love to send them a free copy of my Verbal Kung Fu book, I bet they'll enjoy it...and please pass this along so other freelancers can see it!
Just brilliant, Jeremy - I think some of clients were filmed to make this!

Hey Lakia, good to hear from you.
I couldn't stop laughing when I saw this. You're right, it is a little sad...only if you don't know how to defend against this type of demanding, unfair behavior.
I know you know how to defend yourself though - good news for you...bad for rotten clients :)

I was too Marshy, sometimes clients have a tendency to really tick me off...still, I've found that it's about establishing parameters and mutual respect. "Verbal Kung Fu for Freelancers" for me was the middle ground between clients off and kissing up to them.
Thanks for the comment, please come back and visit soon.
