Would You Like to Guest Blogging Here?
Hey if you've got something you'd like to share with the rest of the creative freelancing community, feel free to drop me a line.
If you already have an article or post you'd like to submit, feel free to include in the email. If you're inspired to write something that you feel would be a good fit for this blog please drop me a line first - let's make sure we're on the same page before you invest your time and energy.
Not a professional writer or blogger? No worries, neither am I. If you've got some insight and passion for a particular topic that would help/inspire others, I'd like to hear from you!
I am always looking for different perspectives on freelancing and design. If your content is honest, relevant and comprehensible - I'll probably run it. If you can, let's try to keep the post between 1250 characters (w/spaces) and 3500 (w/ spaces) - you can check this easily in Word.
I'd suggest keeping your paragraphs short, stay focused on your topic, use sub heads where appropriate and please have one other person (even if it's a friend or family member) check over your work before you submit it. I'd ask that you keep the post respectful and civil...but humor and sarcasm are always appreciated.
Of course you're welcome to add a 2-3 sentence blurb about yourself and your blog/site at the end as well. I'd also encourage you to participate if other freelancers have commented on your post. I'll make sure to Tweet about this to help publicize your work as well.

Me Guest Blogging for You
If you've got a blog that is designed to inform or inspire creative freelancers and you feel based on what I've written about in this blog that you'd like me to throw something together for you, let me know!
I'll try to keep to the same parameters I've listed above and I'll provide you with the most compelling, informative content that I can. I will also participate as much or a little in the comment forum as you would like. Here's an example of a post of mine (check out the comment section too).
I would humbly ask that if you're looking for me to submit something that you may or may not run based on your approval that we pass on it. I love having the opportunity to write in a different venue, for new readers, but I just don't have the time to go through an extensive revision and approval process (I want to write for freelancers, not an editor). If you have a pretty informal, easy-going editing process, I'll be fine.
If there's a particular topic you'd like me to blog about please let me know, I'll be happy to try to accommodate you. I also have a library of articles/posts that I haven't released yet, so there's a chance that I've already written about your topic. If you don't have something in mind but would like me to write something up, I'll come up with some ideas based on your readership and what they might be looking for.
Before I get things started I'd need to know:
- Exactly when you'll be running my post.
- How long you'd like it (if it differs than what I have above).
- What topic I'll be writing about (we can discuss), I just want to make sure you're clear about what I'll be writing.
- What type of graphic(s) I may be able to include, and what ways you would allow me to tactfully publicize what I am doing on this blog (BASAS).
If you think I'd be a good fit for your readers and blog, I'd be honored to hear from you (nah, I am not one of those freelancers with a big ego), email me today at jeremy (*at*) beingastarvingartistsucks.com.
