Who's this for:
If you've got a web site or blog that educates or inspires creative freelancing professionals: graphic designers, web designers, and illustrators.
If you're looking to make some easy money on the side, and at the same time help your readers become more successful freelancers.
If you have a fairly healthy readership base (over 100) that would be ideal but it's not necessary. If you're just starting out, don't worry about it - I still would like to hear from you.
This is a great opportunity if you've purchased some of the "Being a Starving Artist Sucks" products, and wanted to introduce and endorse them to other freelancers who could use some guidance.
How it works:
- You feature a link, banner or some other advertisement (I am flexible and don't want something that's overpowering) on your web site directly readers to your own customized web page on the "Being a Starving Artist Sucks". I will design the banner, etc. exactly to your specs and make sure it looks nice on your site. I will also design the special web page - you don't have to do anything!
- When they click on the link or banner, your readers will be taken to your special web page and will get special deals on the "Being a Starving Artist Sucks" product line.
- You'll make 25% of the revenue off of anything your readers buy (actually this isn't totally true, I can't track down actual iPhone buyers but the books are only $2 so you're not losing out on much).
Interested in Learning More? How to Get Started:
If after checking out this blog and some of the resources I have available for creative freelancers, you feel what I've put together would be helpful and well-received by your readers contact me at jeremy (at) beingastarvingartistsucks.com. If you want to set up a teleconference, that's cool too - I am always happy to talk with fellow designers.
I'll send over a short and relatively informal proposal that outlines everything. I'd also want to hook you up with complimentary evaluation copies of some of the resources I've put together. I know your reputation is at stake any time you feature a product/service on your site so it's important to me that you've personally had a chance to go through what I have and make a determination if they're a good fit for your readers.
If this is something you'd be open to, drop me a line now at jeremy (at) beingastarvingartistsucks.com. Shoot me over your name and your web site and I'll get back to you w/in 24 hours.
PS - If you were wondering, nah - I am not publicizing this deal. I'm looking for fans, friends and other freelancers who in addition to making some money, they want to help other creative freelancers - not really looking for opportunistic salespeople eager for another revenue stream.
